The Brownstone Insurance Program was established in 1973 in New York City. The concept for the Program was developed by insurance agents living in up-and-coming neighborhoods. The insurance industry did not see their vision – insuring older buildings with flat roofs in transitional neighborhoods.
Problem solved! The Brownstone Program was started, and for over three decades it has grown and changed as much as the neighborhoods in which it started.
Today, Brownstone’s Boston affiliate offers some of the most competitive products with competitive prices, underwritten by an insurance company with an A+ rating. Brownstone has the personal feel of a regional carrier with the financial backing of one of the largest companies in the world! We’ve been insuring Boston’s neighborhoods for over 25 years, and we look forward to 25 more.
